Ulla Vahteri
Ulla Vahteri is studying textile design in Aalto University and she was taking part in PatternLab21 project. In her creative practice different environments are essential for finding inspiration. Her family cabin is located near Lake Päijänne, the place close to Ulla’s heart. Occasional trips to islands and forests ignite the creative spark. Working methods vary from the precise lines to organic brush strokes. Long-term thinking is one of Ulla’s design principles: carefully chosen textile materials stand the test of time.
Lapuan Kankurit found Ulla from Aalto University through Pattern Lab 2021 and is very happy to represent OTSO design in their collection.
