Wool

Wool fibre from different part of world are different. The wool fiber we use is high-quality. Finnish wool we buy and collect ourself from the farms nearby and we also do the spinning in our own wool spinning mill or in other spinning mills in Finland. Other certified pure new wools come from South America, Scandinavia, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa. That wool yarn is spun mainly in Europe according to Öko-Tex standard 100 and we ensure that our wool is mulesing-free and certified.

Wool is well-known for its good insulation properties, meaning that you will stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The surface structure of wool fibres naturally repels water and makes the textiles antibacterial and -microbial.

Wool is anti-static, as well as odour and stain resistant, so it doesn't gather dust mites or require regular washing. Wool is one of the most durable natural materials. Textiles made of these fibres can last for generations, but they are also biodegradable — an ecological and sustainable choice.

Mohair is a silk-like yarn made from the hair of the Angora goat. Our mohair products are made of South African mohair yarn and New Zeeland wool spun in Europe. Our mohair is mulesing-free and certified. It contains very small amount of nylon. Mohair wool is a silky, soft and warm organic material.
