Are you familiar with our popular Terva towel? The material innovated by Lapuan Kankurit is extremely absorbent, very lightweight and quick to dry. It is the perfect companion for a day at the beach and other trips.

The interesting material for the Terva towel is a washed linen-Tencel-cotton blend. Tencel is made from wood pulp and its production is Eco-Friendly. Lapuan Kankurit has developed a soft and highly absorbent technical textile that makes a day at the beach even more pleasurable then previously. The towel is absorbent and dries quickly, making it ultra hygienic to use. It's also light and takes only little space which makes it perfect when travelling.

Made out of Masters of Linen long staple linen yarn, grown and spun in Europe and out of tencel-cotton yarn according Öko-Tex standard. Yarns are dyed in Europe, mainly in Finland nearby the weaving mill. Product development and design, material purchasing, bindings of the fabric and programming of the jacquard machine is done in own weaving mill in Finland. Warping, preparing, weaving, finishing, drying and fabric inspection is done in own weaving mill in Finland. Sewing in own daughter sewing company in Lithuania, in own weaving mill in Finland and in subsidiaries located nearby in Finland. Accessories come from Europe, mainly from Finland. Main part of production is made in Finland. Country of origin is Finland.

Care instructions

Delicate laundry wash at 60°C in plenty of water. Wash separately. 40°C is also an adequate wash temperature. Do not use softner and bleach. Normal spin cycle. Reshape whilst damp. Linen fibres may come off the product during the wash. Check the lint filter before and after washing. The colour of natural linen becomes lighter with washing. We do not recommend tumble dryer.

Pyyhkeet ovat kauniita, kevyitä ja imukykyisiä.Värisävyt ovat kauniita.Pikkuhiljaa olen luopunut froteepyyhkeistä ja siirtynyt näihin pyyhkeisiin.

Olen käyttänyt tummaa pyyhettä vuosia tauotta, joka viikko 60 asteessa ja kuivurissa pesten. Ihan hyvä edelleen. Uuden ostan ihan vain vaihtelun vuoksi.
