The SAANA scarf is soft 100% merino. Designed by a top designer Anu Leinonen. 

 

This wide scarf, thanks to its lightness, lays beautifully on the shoulders or neck. Although these merino wool products are lightweight, they are also warm.

 

SAANA scarves are woven in our own weaving mill in Lapua.

This product is made out of 100% high quality, fine South American and South African merino wool fibre. Wool is mulesing free and we work only with certified spinning mills. All yarns are spun as well as dyed in Europe according to REACH regulations and fulfil the ÖKO-TEX certificate requirements.

Our strategy is to be responsible for the whole production from yarn to readymade products. Main part of our whole production is made in our own weaving mill in Lapua.

Product development, programming of looms and design as well as warping, weaving, finishing and fabric inspection is done in Lapua in our own weaving mill. Sewing is mainly done in our own weaving mill in Lapua or subsidiary sewing company in Lithuania. Accessories come from Europe, mainly from Finland. Country of origin is Finland.

Care instructions

Only wash if textile is very dirty, otherwise take textile outdoors in fresh air for a while. Hand wash at max. 30°C or dry clean. If using powder detergent, dissolve it in plenty of water. Immerse the blanket in the water and wash immediately. Squeeze gently. Do not scrub, stretch or wring out. Rinse thoroughly and squeeze out most of the water. Press the blanket between towels until half-dry and leave it to dry in an airy space. Do not tumble dry. Iron with a damp cloth, max. 150°C.

I got this scarf for my birthday and I am absolutely loving it. It is big enough to be used as a shawl but light enough to be used as a scarf. I like the dark grey colour as well - the stripes give this otherwise simple scarf some colour. Lovely and classic - and made in Finland! What is not to like.

SAANA merino wool scarf!Beautiful neat scarf, very thin but wonderfully warm!The whole month of November you had free shipping above 100 (nice promotion for the Netherlands)when I received my SAANA scarf I immediately ordered the KOLISoft merino wool scarf in beige-olive, beige-cinnamon, black-beige. Already have the beige-olive at home, another beautiful warm scarf!
