Order and delivery

You can speed up customer service by registering in our online store. You can also order products without registration. You are responsible for making sure that the information you provide is accurate and up-to-date. Once you have submitted your order, you will receive confirmation by e-mail that your order has been received. If the payment process is cancelled, the order is also cancelled automatically.

The current prices for the products in the online store are visible on the store's webpage. VAT is included in the prices for consumers. Lapuan Kankurit Oy will do its best to have products available and to update information on stock as often as possible.

Modes of delivery

All costs of delivery of products ordered in the web shop are inclusive of postage and packaging costs. The costs of different means of delivery are shown in the basket when the products have been chosen. Please note that you bear the risk of damage or loss of the products you have ordered when the product has been delivered to you. If the packaging appears to be damaged, please do not accept the shipment.

At the moment, we only deliver products inside the EU in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland (not Åland), France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Luxemburg, the Netherlands and Sweden. Lapuan Kankurit Oy reserves the right to refuse an order if necessary.

Modes of delivery in Finland

Postal parcel, pickup from post office
Normally orders are delivered to the nearest post office, from where you can collect the package once you have received an arrival notification from the post office.

Matkahuolto, Near parcel
Orders are delivered to the pickup point of choice.

Postal parcel to the doorstep
The postal service will arrange a delivery to the address provided by the customer.

Matkahuolto, delivery parcel
Matkahuolto will call the customer and arrange a delivery to the address provided by the customer.

Pick-up from the store
The customer chooses the store when placing an order.

We do not deliver to Åland Islands.

Modes of delivery in EU countries

UPS Standard parcel

• Austria, Belgium, France, Great Britain, Italy, Luxemburg and the Netherlands. For retailers the delivery cost will be invoiced according to the weight.
• Transport will take about 2–6 days

DPD Classic parcel

• Denmark, Germany and Sweden.
• Transport will take about 2-6 days

• We do not deliver to the following territories, which do not apply the EU Value Added Tax regime: In Germany, Büsingen und Helgoland, in the United Kingdom, Guernsey (incl. Alderney and Sark), Jersey and Gibraltar, in Italy Livigno and Campione d'Italia.

Time of delivery

The goal is to deliver the ordered products within one week of receiving the order. If the time of delivery is significantly delayed, our customer service will try to contact the customer as soon as possible. No service fee is collected for backorders. Please contact +358 6 433 8300 or info(at)lapuankankurit.fi if you have special requests in terms of the time of delivery.

Methods of payment

The customer may pay his/her orders by using the methods of payment defined in the web shop. You can read about the methods of payment that we offer at Shipping and payment methods. Unless otherwise agreed, Lapuan Kankurit Oy charges the customer upon making the respective order. In case of invoicing or payment in instalments, Lapuan Kankurit Oy or its partners may check the customer's credit history from a third party. Lapuan Kankurit Oy reserves the right to exclude certain methods of payment at certain times, or propose to change the method of payment of a specific order, if the method chosen by the customer does not function for some reason. Please note that the restrictions on the use of the available methods of payment are stated in the web shop and we recommend that you read them carefully before making any orders.
Paytrail Oyj (FI2122839) provides net bank related payment transfer services in co-operation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. For the consumer the service works exactly the same way as traditional web payments.

Paytrail Oyj will be shown as the recipient in the invoice and Paytrail Oyj will forward the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj is an authorized Payment Institution. For reclamations, please contact the website you made your payment to.

Discount codes

Discount codes are campaign-specific. When placing an order, enter the discount code in the space reserved for it. The discount is deducted from the total amount of the order.

Right of exchange and return

Products ordered from the online shop have a 14-day exchange and return right. In Finland you can leave the product to be returned at the post office or at Matkahuolto to be delivered to us as a so-called customer return. Fill in the return form and send it with the product to be returned. Lapuan Kankurit Oy will pay the postage for the return inside Finland. In returns from outside Finland the customer has to take care of postage him/herself.

The products must be returned unused and undamaged in their original packaging. In case the product is damaged or lost during product return, the customer will be responsible for the expenses.

Changing or cancelling the order

Product Defects

In the event the customer notices that a product bought from the web shop is defective, as defined in applicable consumer legislation, the customer may submit a claim. All claims must be made as soon as possible after becoming aware of the respective defect by using the contact details stated in the web shop. In the event that a claim leads to the product(s) being returned, Lapuan Kankurit Oy shall be liable for any costs of delivery caused by such return(s).

When a product subject to a claim is returned and the claim is substantiated, Lapuan Kankurit Oy shall credit to the customer the compensation required by applicable consumer legislation. Lapuan Kankurit Oy aims to pay the compensation within thirty (30) days after receiving the product(s) subject to the claim, but the actual payment date may vary, depending on the nature of the product(s). If the product(s) returned in accordance with this clause are not defective under applicable consumer legislation, Lapuan Kankurit Oy may reject the claim, and recover the costs of delivery caused by returning the product to the customer (if any).

These general terms are not intended to limit the customer's legal rights nor Lapuan Kankurit Oy's legal obligations related to product defects in any way including, without limitation, repair or replacement obligations.

Other terms

Lapuan Kankurit Oy does not guarantee the availability of all products in the web shop. Lapuan Kankurit Oy is not liable for any spelling mistakes or incorrect pictures presented in the web shop, nor for incorrect prices, nor for incorrect information regarding any product's stock situation. In the event that a product ordered by a customer has been given an incorrect price, Lapuan Kankurit Oy shall notify the respective customer of the same prior to an order confirmation and freeze the order until the customer has accepted the new price. All pictures and photos presented in the web shop are only to be referred to as examples and they may not be relied upon in any way, including in relation to the amount, appearance, functionality or origin of the respective product(s). Lapuan Kankurit Oy is not liable for any information provided by third parties for the purposes of the web shop.

The orderer must be over 18 years of age.
